My Story

A born performer, Leelynn was virtually raised inside the Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Jacksonville, Fl.  The thrill of singing, acting and connecting with an audience has always been his greatest passion.

"I am most comfortable within the walls of a theater space. My first love has always been the audience, we're always celebrating our first date."

Leelynn honed his voice on stage at an early age in church and began formal voice training at the nationally recognized Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. An alumni of the New World School of the Arts, he also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Voice from the University of North Florida. Leelynn has received instruction and training from Jazz greats such as Bill Prince, Bunky Green & Grammy winner Kurt Elling to name a few. He is also America's Official Michael Bublé Tribute Artist.

"Performing is performing no matter how you swing it. I don't favor one art form over the next. I get the privilege of using words...I greatly admire those who can convey that same emotion with their bodies."

Naturally, his love led to a job at a local ballroom dance studio where he worked professionally as a dancer and instructor. The studio brought in Ukrainian Latin Champions Stanislov Datsenko and Natalia Laubert from whom Leelynn received two years of rigorous training. He was even fortunate enough to have received instruction from Maksim Chmerkovsky of Dancing with the Stars.

"I'm a normal person too, well sort of. I'm sure my kids will beg to differ once they're old enough to realize what daddy does for a living. They are my inspiration for everything. I am a performer and a father. When my last day comes and big-guns upstairs tells me what I did best...hopefully it's the latter."

Lee has two beautiful children (most children are!) and resides in Atlantic Beach, FL.
